Restoring Decayed, Broken Teeth
to Health and Strength
A crown is recommended if a tooth:
- Has a large cavity to be repaired
- Has had a large filling break or fall out
- Has undergone root canal therapy
- Has chipped or broken
Getting a crown is a two-visit process to the Tulsa dental practice of Dr. Rick Canady. On the first visit, Dr. Canady will prepare your tooth, then take a mold of your tooth and send the mold to a lab. The lab will custom build the crown out of 100% porcelain to perfectly fit over your tooth.
In the meantime, Dr. Canady will place a temporary crown on your tooth to protect it. When the final crown comes in from the lab, Dr. Canady will remove the temporary and permanently place the final crown. You can be assured only the finest of US labs and materials are being used to fabricate your crown.
